Your responsibilities involve ensuring compliance with tree by-laws, coordinating permit applications, and developing performance measures. Your role directly impacts the management of urban trees and their protection. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations and team training of Forest Protection Officers Coordinate reviews of tree permit applications across various processes Develop performance measures related to permit applications and fees Facilitate coordination for the administration of tree permits Prepare reports for Council and Committee regarding urban forestry Requirements:

Degree/diploma in Arboriculture or related field ISA Arborist Certification; TRAQ required Certified Municipal Law Enforcement Officer designation preferred Minimum 5 years’ related experience, 2 years in supervision Valid Class G driver's license required Utilize your expertise in arboriculture and law enforcement to protect urban trees in this rewarding supervisory role.
