Primavera P6 Scheduler - Grid Projects (Bilingual)

RoleSummary

TheSchedulerwillplayakeyroleinplanningandcoordinatingschedulesforcomplexgridstabilizationprojectsacrossCanada&US.WorkingandsupportingtheleadProjectManagerinCanada,thisroleisidealforsomeonewhoishighlyfocused,directincommunication,andexceptionallystrongin PrimaveraP6 .

Youwillcollaboratewithprojectmanagers,engineeringteams,procurement,andfieldpersonneltobuildandmaintainschedulesthatdriveexecutionexcellence.Theenvironmentisfast‑paced,hands‑on,andrequiressomeonewhocanworkindependentlywhilemanagingahighvolumeofscheduleactivities.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Develop,manage,andmaintaindetailedprojectschedulesusingPrimaveraP6,ensuringalignmentwithprojectmilestonesandobjectives.
  • CoordinatewithPMs,procurement,engineering,andfieldteamstogatherprogressupdatesandvalidatescheduleaccuracy.
  • Monitorprojecttimelinesandidentifypotentialdelaysorconflicts,proactivelyadjustingschedulesandcommunicatingupdatestostakeholders.
  • Managelarge,complexscheduleswithhighactivitycountsacrossmulti‑stagecivilandelectricalprojects.
  • Conductregularriskassessmentsandimplementmitigationstrategiestomaintainadherencetotimelinesandbudgets.
  • Prepareandpresentschedulingreports,includingforecasts,variances,andprojectstatusupdatestomanagementandstakeholders.
  • Ensurecompliancewithsafetystandards,projectguidelines,andregulatoryrequirements.
PreferredQualifications

  • 3-5yearsofschedulingexperiencewithinaconstructionorengineeringenvironment,withafocusonlarge-scaleenergyorinfrastructureprojects.
  • ProficiencyinPrimaveraP6isrequired;familiaritywithotherschedulingsoftwareisaplus.
  • PreviousexperiencewithFACTsorsimilargridstabilizationprojectsisanasset.
  • Strongunderstandingofprojectmanagementprinciples,includingriskmanagement,costcontrol,andresourceallocation.
  • Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskillstoeffectivelycoordinatewithcross-functionalteams.
  • Backgroundincivilconstruction,EPCenvironments,orelectricalinstallationprojects.
  • Provenabilitytomanagehigh‑volumeactivityinputsandupdates.
  • WorkingknowledgeofMicrosoftProject.
  • Abilitytoworkindependentlyandfollowthroughwithstakeholders.
  • ThisisaBilingualrole. MUSTs peak,read,writeFrenchandEnglish.
