Penticton Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated Child and Youth Psychiatrist to join an innovative healthcare team in Penticton, BC. This role serves a diverse population through inpatient services at the 16-bed unit and outpatient care, along with community outreach and vocational programs. You will also teach medical students and engage in quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient psychiatry services for children and youth
- Deliver inpatient care in the psychiatric unit
- Conduct counseling and DBT groups as needed
- Participate in program development and quality improvement
- Teach and mentor medical students
- Child and youth psychiatry experience preferred
- Be part of a multidisciplinary mental health team
- Participate in on-call rotations of 1:5 to 1:6
- Actively engage in community outreach programs
- MOCAP Level 2 remuneration structure
