We are currently accepting applications for part-time and casual/on-call Event Staff to join our growing event team in Victoria.
Shifts are typically in the evenings and on weekends, and would pair well with a full-time job to offer some supplemental income.
Some of the roles we are looking to fill are:
- Guest Services
- Access Control
Training Wage: $18.75 per hour
Site wage: $18.75-$20.00 per hour
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Our Event Team at event based facilities conduct regular patrols, provide impeccable customer service, and respond to incidents and emergencies as required. Events are a dynamic and fast paced work environment where things are constantly changing, and there are always interesting challenges to solve.
Crowd Control:
- Monitor and manage crowd flow to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
- Assist in directing attendees to their designated areas and seats.
Ticketing and Access Control:
- Verify tickets and credentials at entry points.
- Ensure the smooth entry and exit of attendees.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting attendees with inquiries and offering guidance.
- Address and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
- Provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Are eligible to work in Canada.
- Are in need of supplemental income.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills, including working under pressure.
- Strong Teamwork skills.
- Discretion when handling confidential and private information.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
- Flexible availability including weekends and evening shifts.
