Advanced Practical Nurse Role at Rx Connect

Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy

Advance your nursing career with Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy in Calgary, Alberta. We are searching for a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our dedicated team and manage infusion therapies. As a key team member, the Registered Practical Nurse will administer specialty medications and provide vital patient education. Your organizational prowess and excellent interpersonal skills will drive our commitment to superior patient care. Engage in meaningful coordination with physicians while fostering patient relationships in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

Administer specialty medications in home or clinic settings
Monitor, chart, and report on patient treatment outcomes
Deliver educational support based on established protocols
Efficiently manage appointment scheduling and patient communications
Strengthen relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders

Requirements:

Active provincial license as a Registered Practical Nurse
At least 3 years of relevant nursing experience
Certification in ACLS and proficiency in MS Office
Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a remote team
