Automotive Manager

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as our Operation Manager.

: As the Mechanic Shop Operation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our automotive repair facility. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, coupled with excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Organization and Management : Oversee the daily operations of the mechanic staff, ensuring efficient work flow and high-quality service. Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure all services meet company standards.

Customer Service and Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for customers. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, provide information about services and pricing, and address any concerns or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Work Order Management : Efficiently manage and process work orders. This includes creating, updating, and tracking orders, ensuring that all necessary parts and tools are available, and coordinating with technicians to complete services in a timely manner.

Multi-tasking and Problem Solving : Demonstrate exceptional multi-tasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality. Quickly address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during daily operations.

Quality Control and Assurance: Regularly inspect completed work to ensure it meets the company's standards of quality and safety. Provide feedback and guidance to staff for continuous improvement.

Inventory and Supply Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary parts and tools are in stock and readily available. Place orders as needed and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Administrative Duties : Perform various administrative tasks, including record keeping, data entry, and preparation of reports. Ensure all operations are compliant with industry standards and regulations.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented approach. The ideal candidate should have experience in the automotive industry, a solid understanding of mechanical processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Mechanic Experience is an Advantage
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficient in Google Suite and other relevant software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
