This position is part of a unionized bargaining unit. The hourly wage for this position starts at $16.60 and is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, and prior experience, a higher hourly wage may be offered. Any hourly wage offered for this role, whether starting or higher, will fall within the wage scale established for this position in accordance with the collective agreement.

Metro’s floral department provides a variety of vibrant, fresh cut flower arrangements and seasonal house and garden plants to meet our customers’ needs. If you have an eye for creativity, enjoy working with your hands and have a love of flowers and plants, our floral department is the place for you!

Joining our  Floral team  will help to enhance your talents, bloom your skills while, captivating our customers with our flower arrangements!

General Qualifications

• Prior floral experience and product knowledge is an asset
• Customer service driven
• Strong Communication Skills
• Able to maintain cleanliness
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
