Senior Accounts Receivable

Our Surrey based real estate client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team.

Competitive salary in the $70,000 - $80,000 range

This role is responsible for overseeing accounts receivable functions across a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring timely rent collection, accurate tenant account management, and strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle for a portfolio of commercial properties
• Process and monitor tenant rent payments, additional rent, CAM recoveries, and other charges
• Review and reconcile tenant ledgers and investigate discrepancies
• Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate collection efforts
• Prepare and issue notices related to arrears, outstanding balances, and payment arrangements
• Work closely with Property Managers and Leasing teams to resolve tenant account issues
• Assist with monthly reporting, aging reports, and cash flow analysis
• Support year-end reconciliations and audit requirementsMaintain accurate tenant records, lease information, and billing schedules
• Ensure compliance with lease terms and internal accounting procedures
• Identify process improvements and assist in streamlining AR operations
