Whitehorse Home Hardware is looking to fill full time sales associate positions: we have a variety of positions available. Experience in tools, hardware, appliances, plumbing & electrical would be an asset.

- Fast paced environment, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling. Some lifting.
- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase
- Advise customers on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services
- Estimate or quote prices, warranties and delivery dates
- Prepare merchandise for purchase
- Assist in display of merchandise
- Maintain sales records for inventory control
- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
- Must be accurate, flexible, team player, excellent oral communication.
- Must be in the Yukon to apply
- High school certificate or equivalent is required
