What You'll Own as an Account Executive - Brand Communications

You’ll:

• Own campaigns from strategy to execution by leading day-to-day PR initiatives across your accounts, managing workstreams from briefing through delivery, and ensuring every project is delivered on time, with exceptional attention to detail, and aligned with client objectives.

• Become a trusted partner to your clients by serving as a day-to-day point of contact, building strong relationships through proactive communication, thoughtful recommendations, and exceptional execution while cultivating meaningful connections with journalists, media, and industry partners.

• Bring bold ideas to the table by contributing strategic campaign concepts inspired by culture, media trends, and audience insights. From crafting compelling pitches and press materials to developing creative storylines, you’ll help create work that captures attention and delivers measurable results.

• Turn insights into smarter communications by monitoring campaign performance, analyzing media coverage, and translating results into actionable recommendations that strengthen future strategies and demonstrate impact to clients.

• Keep great work moving by confidently managing timelines, media lists, reporting tools, budgets, and project workflows while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and keep campaigns running seamlessly.

• Lead by example by taking ownership of your work, sharing knowledge with teammates, supporting the development of junior colleagues, and continuously growing your strategic expertise in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

• Agency Experience: You bring 3-4years of experience in public relations, ideally within an agency environment, where you’ve managed campaigns or client accounts from planning through execution.

• Media Relations: You have proven experience developing compelling media pitches, building strong relationships with journalists, and securing meaningful earned media coverage.

• Campaign Ownership: You’re confident managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, balancing priorities with exceptional organization, attention to detail, and accountability.

• Ways of Working: You’re collaborative, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working independently while knowing when to seek guidance. You take initiative, communicate proactively, and enjoy contributing to a high-performing team.

• Growth Mindset: You’re passionate about communications, culture, and media, and excited to deepen your expertise across PR, influencer marketing, and integrated campaigns while continuing to grow your strategic thinking.

• Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English is required. Bilingualism in English and French is considered a strong asset.

$60,000 - $70,000 a year
