Senior New Business Sales Manager - Active Travel / Smart Mobility

SENIOR NEW BUSINES SALES MANAGER - SILVERSTONE OR HOME OFFICE - FULL TIME

At Eco Counter (Traffic Technology), we help cities, transport authorities and public organisations understand and improve mobility through innovative counting and data solutions.

To support our growth in the UK, we are looking for a true New Business Sales Hunter who thrives on opening doors, building relationships with decision-makers and winning new clients.

This is a pure new business role focused on identifying opportunities, creating a pipeline and converting prospects into long-term partnerships : Your key role will be to identify opportunities, engage decision-makers and position Eco Counter as the preferred partner for mobility data solutions :

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the General Manager to develop and deliver New Business Development strategies which identify and target new business opportunities within the Active Travel and Transport market and exposes the Eco-Counter organisation to prospective new clients

  • Drive new business development through proactive outreach methodology, professional presentation with swift responses to created opportunities

  • Win new business by developing a strong understanding of client needs, identifying and recommending the most suitable Eco-Counter solutions which exceed client requirements and deliver long term recurring revenue.

  • Engage with and meet decision-makers in cities, counties, national parks, and other public bodies – building long term relationships and becoming their trusted solution expert to ensure Eco Counter solutions are always their preferred choice

  • Attend industry events, conferences to develop market knowledge, competitor activity and network decision makers to monitor and report on industry regulations, government incentives, and new technologies.

  • Provide support throughout the business development lifecycle, from initial client interaction to deal support and documentation.

  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to gather market intelligence and support brand presence.

What We’re Looking For

  • A real sales “ Hunter ” with a passion for delivering new sales and driving exceptional customer experience

  • Someone who “Loves the thrill of the chase” with excellent ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and accessible way

  • Someone who will go the “extra mile” with an “ABC” mindset and sales approach with a demonstrable track record in successful NBD sales roles

  • 5-10 years experience of working in the Public sector with a strong interest in active transportation, sustainability, or public space planning and established contacts in the urban or nature sectors would be a real positive

  • If you have the above Sales Skill set and experience of the Active Travel, Transport and Road Safety sectors and how these impact a Greener, Safer and Heathier environment you could be an ideal candidate

  • Willingness to travel across UK with occasional international visits

  • Has a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Comfortable using CRM and Sales performance tools to accurately report on activity, build and deliver from a pipeline
