Director of Performance Marketing - Remote

Lead the Performance Marketing department at Blacksmith Agency in a fully remote role. Oversee PPC and SEO strategies, driving client results and team performance. As the Director of Performance Marketing, you will be at the forefront of managing PPC and SEO specialists. Taking ownership of quality standards and audits, you will ensure the integrity of our strategies and results. Your role includes client communication during performance issues, strategizing budget allocation, and refining hiring plans for your team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage development and reviews of PPC and SEO strategists
- Set quality standards for audits and reporting
- Diagnose underperforming accounts and direct resolutions
- Develop channel strategy for account scaling
- Collaborate on client expectations with sales team
- 7+ years in paid media and SEO roles
- Proven management of strategists and specialists
- Depth in Google Ads, GA4, and Meta platforms
- Experience in turning around client accounts
- Prior experience in an agency setting
