Enhance mental health education as a Relief Health Promoter for C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. in Peterborough and surrounding areas. Deliver impactful training sessions focusing on mental wellness and stigma. C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. is seeking a Relief Health Promoter to provide essential public education and training on mental health issues. This role requires expertise in mental illness, as sessions will cater to diverse audiences including schools and community groups. As a relief position, you must maintain your full hours in your home position, with the potential for evening and weekend schedules. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver public education and certified training sessions
- Represent C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. at community events
- Collect and analyze program evaluation data
- Participate in performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- Certification in mental health training programs
- Relevant mental health education experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
