Server Assistant/ Expediter

Claudio’s Ristorante is looking for a reliable, energetic Server Assistant / Expediter to join our team. We are a busy Italian restaurant focused on handmade pasta, regional wines, and genuine hospitality.

We’re seeking someone who understands that great service is a team effort — someone who is organized, attentive, fast-paced, and takes pride in helping create a smooth and memorable dining experience for every guest.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting servers with running food, clearing tables, and maintaining smooth service
• Expediting food from the kitchen to ensure dishes are complete, accurate, and presented properly
• Communicating closely with the kitchen, servers, and management throughout service
• Checking plates for accuracy, presentation, and proper garnishes before leaving the kitchen
• Running food to tables quickly and efficiently while maintaining proper service standards
• Clearing and resetting tables promptly and keeping the dining room clean and organized
• Assisting with water service, bread service, and other guest needs
• Supporting servers during busy periods to ensure timely and efficient service
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of service stations, pass, and dining areas
• Helping create a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous restaurant experience is an asset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to take direction and work well under pressure
• Professional appearance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and safely carry multiple plates
• Serving It Right certification is an asset
