Job Summary:

Mikhaiel Logistics is looking for a highly organized and results-driven Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations in our warehouse or logistics facility. This role is responsible for overseeing staff, improving operational efficiencies, ensuring safety compliance, and driving the overall performance of the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

• Supervise and manage the operations team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in alignment with company goals.
• Provide ongoing training and development to staff, focusing on performance improvement and operational best practices.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to promote growth and address any performance gaps.

Operational Management

• Oversee daily operational tasks, ensuring that workflows are smooth and meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage inventory control, order fulfillment, equipment utilization, and logistics operations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resources.

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Work closely with other departments to streamline cross-functional workflows and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including conducting safety training, inspections, and audits.
• Monitor the work environment to identify potential hazards and take proactive steps to minimize risks.
• Enforce proper use of equipment and safety gear, ensuring that staff members follow all safety protocols.

Communication & Reporting

• Act as the point of contact for operational issues, communicating effectively with team members, management, and other departments.
• Prepare and present regular performance and operational reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and progress toward goals.
• Address any operational challenges or concerns promptly and work to resolve them efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations , with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management, supply chain logistics, and inventory control.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards within a warehouse or logistics environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
