The successful candidates will have hands-on experience welding and fabricating aluminum, with strong skills in TIG welding. You will fabricate, fit, and weld aluminum components and structural assemblies for custom yachts and marine vessels in accordance with drawings, specifications, and our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG weld and fabricate aluminum components and structural assemblies
• Fit, assemble, and install aluminum structural components with a high degree of accuracy
• Read and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
• Use standard fabrication equipment, shop tools, and welding machinery
• Support vessel assembly for new builds, refits, and specialty marine projects
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and other trades
• Ensure work meets company safety, quality, and workmanship standards

Qualifications

• Previous aluminum welding and fabrication experience required
• Strong proficiency in TIG welding aluminum required
• MIG aluminum welding experience is an asset
• Marine, shipbuilding, industrial, or custom fabrication experience is an asset
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
• CWB or equivalent welding certification is an asset
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures

• Overtime or shift work may be required based on operational needs
