Truck Driver Friend X Ltd. Location Brampton, ON Salary 36.00 hourly / 35 hours per week Full time Morning, Day, Evening Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Address customers' complaints or concerns Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques Professionalism in customer service Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Experience and specialization Documentation knowledge Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Trip reports Last Date: 2026-08-29
