Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Extended Shift Hours (11.78) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: No Job : The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the nursing unit manager or director of nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care. Human Resources Exemption: No Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility
- Ability to manage crisis situations in clinical areas relevant to the position
- A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients
- A valid driver's license and licensed/registered vehicle is required.
- Ability to work cooperatively in an integrated interdisciplinary team
