Lead player-focused UX design remotely from the greater Vancouver area, using research and prototyping to shape intuitive game experiences.Smoking Gun Interactive seeks a Senior or Principal UX Designer to guide experiences across game titles. You will transform gameplay ideas into data-informed interfaces through wireframes, player flows, usability testing, and collaboration. The work spans concept, launch, and live support.Key Responsibilities:
Lead UX design for one or more game titlesCreate wireframes, prototypes, and player flowsConduct research, competitive analysis, and usability testingRefine designs using player feedback and data insightsCollaborate with artists, designers, developers, and productionRequirements:
Six-plus years’ game industry UX design experienceMultiple shipped mobile game titlesPortfolio showing player flow optimization and problem-solvingProficiency with Figma or Adobe Creative SuiteBachelor’s degree in UX, graphic design, or related fieldBring game UX leadership, prototyping, research, and player advocacy to Smoking Gun Interactive’s Vancouver-based remote team.
