Our ideal nanny is loving, patient, attentive, and proactive. We value a balance of structured, developmentally appropriate activities and independent play, with plenty of reading, outdoor time, exploration, and opportunities to learn practical everyday skills. The position is child-focused; we are not looking for general household cleaning or unrelated household duties. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be: Experienced caring for babies and young children Warm, affectionate, patient, and dependable Engaged and comfortable getting down on the floor to play and interact Creative and enthusiastic about planning activities Comfortable following an established family routine while also taking initiative Attentive to safety and comfortable communicating openly with parents Organized and able to keep child-related spaces and belongings in order Comfortable around dogs Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification is strongly preferred.
