Job Overview

Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is currently hiring Apprentice/Labourers for flat roofing projects in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Flat Roofing Support

Assist crew members with installing roofing systems
Load, unload, and move materials around the job site
Remove debris and maintain a clean, organized work area
Support proper storage and protection of materials
Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE

Qualifications & Experience

Previous construction or roofing experience is an asset, but not required
Experience with roofing systems (Mod-Bit, EPDM, TPO, Asphalt & Gravel) is an asset
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract required
Safety certifications (Fall Protection, WHMIS/GHS) are an asset
Experience operating construction equipment is an asset

Working Conditions

Work at heights and on ladders
Physically demanding (lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, kneeling, standing for long periods)
Outdoor work in all weather conditions
Early mornings, with possible overtime, evenings, and weekends
Travel to rural job sites may be required
