Job Responsibility:

Atlantic Windows is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation skills to optimize purchasing strategies and maintain quality standards while controlling costs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, buying, and vendor management.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements for production and fabrication needs.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information in SAP or similar systems.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential new suppliers or cost-saving opportunities.

Experience

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or purchasing roles is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, vendor management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and softwares is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze data related to pricing, supply chain efficiency, and vendor performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
