Drive geotechnical excellence as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Markham, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on supervising operational aspects and technical services in a dynamic team environment. The Sr. Geotechnical Engineer will oversee all operational and technical components of the Geotechnical Group. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, candidates must exhibit strong supervisory abilities and proficiency in soil examinations, testing, and reporting. Proficiency in geotechnical design software like GeoStudio and Rocscience is essential, along with proven work in diverse sectors including infrastructure and high-rise buildings. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operational and technical aspects of Geotechnical Group
- Perform soil/rock testing and prepare borehole logs
- Review Geotechnical reporting and design recommendations
- Create Project’s Financial Health Reports monthly
- Ensure positive client relationships and project satisfaction
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- MSc or MEng in a related field
- Proficient in geotechnical analysis and design
- Experience with municipalities and regulatory authorities
- Strong communication and management skills
