Apply today!# **Job Details****Responsibilities**: * Coordinate and manage all aspects required in order to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients;* Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician’ offices and healthcare professionals in order to maximize reimbursement solutions;* Coordinate documents, submissions and all related paperwork to insurance companies, public/federal funding programs;Implement Financial Means Test as required in an effort to maximize patient’s prescription drug coverage* Coordinate pharmacy processes required once funding has been obtained; and* Acquire in depth knowledge of public / private and federal funding mechanisms.Responsible to report all Adverse Events to the assigned units/departments* The Reimbursement Specialist will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time.**Education:** * Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline;Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, in an office setting;* Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel);Professional / courteous / efficient telephone manner;* Proven ability to organize time, set priorities and multi-task in order to meet various competing work deadlines;* Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills;Ability to work independently and in a team environment;Attention to detail;* Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or insurance industry is an asset; andBilingualism, French/English is an asset.**Knowledge & Skills:** * Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry* Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating system* Strong business and financial acumenStrong analytical and mathematical skills* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writingEffective interpersonal and leadership skills* Effective organizational skills; attention to detailAbility to consistently meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficientlyExcellent presentation skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs.**Education:*** Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a two-year associate's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.* A minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service* Bilingual (French/ English) an asset* Ability to multitask* Attention to detail* Strong Problem solving skills* Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field is an asset.* Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook **Skills and Knowledge:** * Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry* Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating system* Strong business and financial acumen* Strong analytical and mathematical skills* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing* Effective interpersonal and leadership skills* Effective organizational skills; attention to detail* Ability to consistently meet deadlines* Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently* Excellent presentation skills* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs# **What Cencora offers**We provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
