Safety Lead for Civil Projects

Join Carlson Construction Group as a Safety Lead dedicated to major marine and civil projects. This project-based role operates on a 10 days on/4 days off schedule. As the Project Safety Leader, you’ll work closely with the leadership team to enhance safety practices throughout project execution. Your responsibilities will include maintaining safety documentation, conducting hazard assessments, and leading impactful safety meetings. Your capability to influence safety behavior among teams is crucial for driving positive change in the workplace. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update safety records and documentation
• Provide constructive feedback on site safety practices
• Conduct orientations for workers on new activities
• Lead effective safety trainings and meetings
• Carry out site inspections and investigate incidents thoroughly

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant safety roles
• Relevant post-secondary education required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Willingness to travel as needed
