Responsibilities:

• Maintain positive tenant relationships through professional responsiveness and proactive attention to tenant concerns, ensuring tenant expectations and landlord standards are consistently met.

• Act as the primary liaison for tenants to ensure all tenant construction activities and landlord projects are effectively coordinated, organized, and proactively managed in accordance with lease obligations.

• Meet with the property management team, tenants, vendors, contractors, and senior leadership as needed to review operational challenges, provide support, and implement new initiatives.

• Coordinate and distribute all relevant tenant communications.

• Share responsibility for enhancing the building's image and ensuring the PWGSC brand is consistently maintained throughout the complex.

• Provide support for the maintenance and upkeep of existing assets and performance measures, including meeting program requirements and ensuring optimal efficiency.

• Ensure insurance records and contract documentation are complete, accurate, and up to date.

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of initiatives designed to enhance and maintain the quality and effectiveness of tenant relationships.

• Coordinate tenant events, appreciation days, and meetings.

• Support the Property Manager with ongoing initiatives.

What you will need to succeed:

Education and certifications

• Community college diploma or equivalent education, including ABI or CET.

• Certified Facility Manager (CFM) designation from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).

• Accredited Residential Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

• Facility Management Administrator (FMA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).

• Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).

• Hold a valid Government of Canada federal security clearance (required).

Note : Specific education or certifications are not mandatory. Candidates with relevant and demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of formal educational requirements.

Experience

• +3-5 years of experience in building and facilities management.

• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining client relationships to meet customer needs.

• Experience in commercial property management.

• Experience developing and managing complex budgets.

Technical and professional skills

• Proven organizational skills and the ability to adapt to evolving client needs while meeting established deadlines.

• Ability to analyze building-related data.

• Strong problem-solving skills supported by sound reasoning and fact-based decision-making.
