As an Engineering Student for PCL Construction Management Inc.  in Edmonton, Alberta (Buildings) , you’ll have the opportunity to lead innovative infrastructure projects that shape the future of your community. We are seeking Engineering students from Civil and Mechanical backgrounds that are available for 4-12 months starting in January 2027 .

Here's how an Engineering Student  for PCL Construction Management Inc. within Edmonton Buildings contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
• Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
• Participation in project meetings
• Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs.
• Issues warranties
• Takes/coordinates progress photos
• Updates field drawings and produces as-built drawings
• Performance of quantity takeoffs
• Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings
• Set-up and maintenance of records
• Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
• Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
• Monitoring of workforce productivity

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required depending on the project site/location.
