Tax Lawyer - Dispute Resolution at BDO

Elevate your career as a Tax Lawyer with BDO Law LLP, focusing on Tax Controversy and Dispute Resolution. Drive client success by developing strategies and managing disputes in a collaborative setting. In this pivotal new role, you will be required to engage directly with clients and Tax authorities. Your responsibilities will include drafting legal representations, formulating strategies for various dispute levels, and conducting thorough legal research on Tax matters. Building relationships across BDO Canada's practice will also be a priority to promote referrals and support your professional growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients and Tax authorities effectively
- Draft legal documentation and perform thorough research
- Develop strategies for various dispute resolution levels
- Manage assignments according to fee estimates
- Mentor junior counsel and law clerks
- Minimum 3 years of Tax experience with a recognized firm
- Member in good standing with relevant Law Society
- LLM in Tax is a strong asset
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects
