HOURS: Week 1 - June 29, 30, July 2, 3 (8:30 am - 12:00 pm)
Week 2 - July 6, 7, 8, 9 (8:30 am - 12:00 pm)
STARTING DATE: Monday, June 29, 2026 - Thursday, July 9, 2026
POSITION SUMMARY: $24.25 per hour + 4% vacation pay
The Administrative Assistant will perform, reception and clerical duties and responsibilities for the summer school site as required by the Summer School Supervising Principal.
Provide administrative support in an elementary school office. Responsible for the daily office duties of the school office, including reception, and for maintaining Aspen student records as directed.
The successful candidate is a Permanent or Supply OCTU member with the Halton District School Board. The successful candidate must be a proficient keyboarder with good technical and organizational skills and effective interpersonal / communication skills. A good working knowledge of Aspen is required. As this contract runs in July, OCTU members who work the first 5 days of July as part of their permanent position are not eligible.
