Supply Chain Management Associate Director

Lead procurement efforts at Thompson Rivers University as the Associate Director of Supply Chain Management. Drive operational effectiveness and service excellence while aligning with institutional priorities. As a key player in the Supply Chain Management team, you will enhance procurement and warehouse operations and supervise a team of up to 10 professionals. Your leadership will facilitate the procurement of goods and services in compliance with all applicable regulations, fostering cooperation with academic and administrative groups. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily procurement and warehouse planning operations
- Coach and motivate staff to achieve performance goals
- Provide guidance on sourcing initiatives and contract management
- Collaborate with Legal and Risk for compliance on RFx documents
- Optimize procurement software and related modules
- Professional Supply Chain designation essential
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline required
- Minimum 8 years of managerial experience in procurement
- Public sector experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
