About The Job: Hello! We are looking for a Nanny to assist our family as a caregiver to our 12 month old son. We require your assistance weekdays, Monday - Friday, starting at 8:00am until 5:00pm daily - in the Bayridge Area. We are looking for someone starting September 1st through to December 31st. We are both professionals, working full-time, with one parent working from a home office - and another out of the house most days. Duties: We are looking for someone to support the care of our child and provide a consistent daily schedule for them that includes: meal-times, naps, play-time, learning, and daily outings. A successful candidate will have an interest and experience in early childhood education, and support in reaching key milestones around early literacy, language development, motor skills, and social / emotional skills. Our son smiles with every song, dance, and silly game, and we are hoping you can match his playfulness by bringing a sense of joy to each of your activities with him. He loves to read, and be read to - and needs physical activity to expel his energy and get a good nap and a good sleep. A great day will include a trip to the playground, a drop-in daycare, or other group activities that include children of his age - all of this COVID-permitting - where safety is our upmost priority. Other Responsibilities: Meal preparation and tidying up kitchen and play-area. Qualifications: Experience with young infant children is required. You must be able to lift and hold a 25lbs. infant, and know your way around an energetic child.
