Office Administrator (Home Renovations)

Tom Martin Cabinets is a family-owned, custom cabinetry business here in Amherstburg. We specialize in kitchen and bath renovations, focusing on transforming our customers' ideas into their dream space. Our showroom offers customers the opportunity to envision what their home can become. From flooring to backsplash, we offer a wide variety to satisfy most styles.

We are looking to add an enthusiastic and organized individual to our team at our showroom. This role will involve assisting customers with their renovation selections, completing sales of showroom products, handling administrative tasks (such as scheduling appointments, accepting payments, etc.), and working alongside the other members of our team.

What you will do:

• Work independently and within a team setting
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with creating interior spaces that reflect their needs and tastes
• Receive customer payments
• Maintain and organize up-to-date records, estimates, invoices and client flies
• Schedule appointments for home consultations and showroom visits
• Answer phone calls and emails
• Manage office supplies, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Light maintenance of showroom aesthetics
• Create social media content
• Use a fork truck (or willing to learn)
• Lifting up to 45lbs

What we would like you to have:

• Strong time-management alongside organizational and communication skills
• Prior retail experience (experience working with cabinetry, flooring, and tile is an asset)
• Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with basic bookkeeping
• Experience with point of sales systems

Hours are 9am-5pm Monday- Friday with rotating Saturdays 9am-12pm. Lunches and breaks are on site.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 43 per week
