Compliance Coordinator

Position Overview

The role of the Senior Coordinator- Trade Compliance is to administer and facilitate all aspects of activities that pertain to managing the customer accounts at Future Electronics. He/she coordinates his efforts with Sales, customer service associates, the Branch Sales Analyst Group, Global Trade Compliance and Credit Departments. The Senior Coordinator- Trade Compliance provides guidance to other members of the Trade Compliance Team.

Responsibilities

• Research new account creation requests using Future Workstation Control Program (WCP), Customer Relations Management (CRM) and internet sites – validate customer name and address.

• Maintain accounts in Future Workstation Control Program (WCP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and per Future Sales Operating procedures including : new account creations, account status changes, account billing/shipping modifications, account assignment/reassignment, creating split accounts.

• Assist with other tasks assigned by Management.

General Administrative Functions :

• Review and ensure Sales are kept up-to-date with the Account Management Procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of trade compliance account management preferred
• Service and results oriented
• Multi tasked, well organized and detail oriented
• Good follow-up skills
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Enthusiastic team player
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self motivated, flexible and adaptable
• Bilingual English, Mandarin an asset
