Expected Start Date: July 05, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Four Directions Community Health Centre City/Town: Regina Department: Home Nursing Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: June 30, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Stats Number of Hours per Rotation: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Home Care Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: Yes Job : Under the direction of the Manager, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services to urban and rural Home Care clients within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The home base for this position is 1504 Albert Street Regina. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required
Education
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification.
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Registered Nurse (RN)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
- Ability to promote effective relationships within the SHA and the community.
- Demonstrated independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment
- Demonstrate communication skills to create positive outcomes/build relationships
- Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making
- Ability to work independently and as a leader of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge in nursing process
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
