Grain Origination Associate

Job Purpose and Impact The Grain Origination Associate will help sell our portfolio of technical and nontechnical products, services and solutions directly to current and new customers. In this role, you will develop an understanding of business, financials, products and services, the market or the needs and challenges of assigned accounts. This position is a learning and developmental position for a long term career at Cargill. Key Accountabilities Inform customers of our new products, services and prices. Take ownership over learning plan and projects to learn what is needed to advance to a grain sales role. Help support development and delivery of sales bids, proposals and presentations and help conduct product demonstrations. Build, monitor and revise lead generation plans to develop substantive sales opportunities. Help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions. Build, develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships. Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Strong interest in agriculture Possess a valid Canadian drivers licence in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during your employment.
