Barrie Project Technologist for Environmental Compliance

Contribute to environmental health as a Project Technologist at Pinchin in Barrie. Focus on site assessments and remediation to make a measurable impact in communities. Pinchin seeks a motivated Project Technologist to join the Environmental Due Diligence team. This role involves conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and collaborating on multidisciplinary projects aimed at regulatory compliance and safety. You'll work closely with industry experts, gaining hands-on experience in environmental consulting. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments based on standards
• Engage in field work for Excess Soil planning and compliance
• Support RSC submissions and CPU monitoring efforts
• Conduct various environmental testing and inspections
• Work alongside project teams and stakeholders effectively

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar
• 0-2 years experience in environmental consulting or related field
• Knowledge of CSA Standards and Ontario Environmental Regulations
• Strong writing skills for reporting and documentation
• Willingness to travel within southwestern Ontario
