Financial Reporting Associate at State Street

Take your accounting skills to State Street as a Financial Reporting Associate. Your role will involve preparing and analyzing financial statements for alternative investments under GAAP compliance. As an Associate 2, you will be integral to the financial reporting team. Your responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of financial disclosures, coordinating feedback from various stakeholders, and conducting first-level reviews of financial statements for hedge funds, private equity, and real estate. This position encourages professional growth and development of junior staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare interim and annual financial statements for investments
- Ensure accuracy of documentation for financial disclosures
- Resolve issues and coordinate comments on financial drafts
- Perform detailed reviews of financial statements accuracy
- Train junior staff on financial reporting best practices
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS financial statements
- Experience with alternative investments
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
