Expected Start Date: August 04, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Swift Current Community Services City/Town: Swift Current Department: Public Health Nursing Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: Yes Job : As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Public Health Nurse provides a full range of community-based public health nursing services including pre and post natal care, immunization, health appraisal and screening, communicable disease follow-up and health counseling. The Public Health Nurse participates in community health initiatives utilizing collaborative and collective approaches to health in partnership with the community. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Minimum of one (1) year Public Health Nursing experience is an asset.
- Supervisory experience is an asset
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in population and public health concepts
