Account Development Representative, General Medicine (Alberta)

This sales role involves promoting Amgen's general medicine products, including biosimilars, to healthcare providers across Alberta. The representative will develop accounts with specialists and primary care physicians, achieve sales targets, implement territory strategies, and collaborate with internal teams to expand clinical adoption. A bachelor's degree and sales experience are required, with experience in inflammation markets and biosimilars preferred.
Responsibilities
- Engage physicians and healthcare professionals to develop business and expand clinical product use
- Achieve monthly sales targets and market share objectives against competitor products
- Develop territory business plans and create programs building competitive advantage
- Manage customer needs including reimbursement issues and patient support services
- Implement marketing strategies, speaker programs, and continuing education initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Sales experience in inflammation market
- Based in Calgary or Edmonton area
- Specialty and primary care selling experience
- Biosimilars product knowledge
- Competitive selling track record with strong negotiation skills
Compensation: $108,290-$146,510 CAD base
