Junior Project Manager / Coordinator (hybrid in Ottawa)

12 month contract hybrid (2 days a week in Ottawa client office)

Overview

We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Coordinators / Junior Project Managers to support a high-volume operational and project delivery environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating orders, tracking implementation activities, monitoring project progress, and ensuring issues are addressed through established escalation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a high volume of orders and project requests.
• Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of smaller-scale installations and implementations.
• Monitor project activities to ensure tasks, deliverables, and timelines are being met.
• Track orders, equipment, resources, and implementation milestones from initiation to completion.
• Serve as a central point of coordination between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and follow up on issues, risks, and outstanding actions.
• Escalate issues through defined channels and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, trackers, and implementation records.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all required activities have been completed accurately.
• Provide regular progress updates to project leads and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Project Coordination, Project Administration, Order Management, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience coordinating installations, deployments, implementations, or operational projects.
• Proven ability to track issues, manage follow-ups, and work within established escalation frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
