Cook/Clerk

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Food Services Cook/Clerk (15-24 hours/week) (2 positions) at our TJs/ Chester-Fried Chicken in our C-Store/Gas Bar location in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the TJs/ Chesters Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain accurately to guests.
Prepare food neatly and according to standard recipes, package takeout orders, and ensure timely service.
Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards throughout food preparation, service, and cleanup.
Check and monitor product in food preparation area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shift.
Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to enter orders, calculate bills, and provide change.
Operate manual and electric appliances, as well as other food preparation tools and equipment.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform light paperwork duties, as assigned.
Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Experience with food preparation and food safety, or you are willing to learn.
Ability to fulfill the physical job requirement including standing for entire shirt and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast paced, guest-facing environment.
Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
