As a hands-on legal professional, you will report to the co-founders and oversee privacy compliance across multiple regulations including GDPR and CCPA. Your focus entails managing data subject requests, drafting contracts, and liaising with external specialists when necessary. This role allows for full autonomy while making impactful legal decisions.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day privacy program across key data regulations • Handle data subject requests and related scalable systems • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts including DPAs and NDAs • Maintain privacy policies and conduct internal training • Serve as the main legal resource for the company

Requirements: • JD or equivalent with Canadian law society bar admission • CIPP/E certification required • 4+ years in privacy and commercial legal work • Proficient in GDPR and CCPA • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
