Position Overview:

We are currently hiring for a full-time shop position focused on the manufacturing, installation, and testing of STC/RF shielded products. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role working with specialized materials in a dynamic environment, alongside a team that knows how to work hard and have fun. No prior experience with STC/RF products? No problem - full training will be provided!

• Position Type: Full-time
• Location: 812 Burton Rd, Vars ON
• Compensation: $27.65/hour to start, based on experience
• Schedule:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (9 hour shifts)
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM (half day)
• Time Off:
  • 3 weeks of paid vacation per year
  • 5 paid sick days per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, cut, and glue STC/RF panels
• Cut and prepare framing materials
• Paint, solder, and occasionally perform stick welding
• Manufacture and assemble both standard and complex STC/RF components
• Perform STC/RF testing
• Conduct on-site installations, with ability to travel within Canada and the US
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, installation diagrams, and schematics
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and personal work area

Experience:

• 5-10 years' experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, assembly, soldering and welding is preferred

Requirements:

• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain up to Level 2 security clearance with the Government of Canada
• Willingness to provide consent for Raymond EMC to obtain a criminal background check
• Strong integrity, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Assets:

• 5-10 years of hand/power tool experience
• 5-10 years of manufacturing or metal fabrication experience
• Background in trades or construction sites (5-10 years preferred)
• 5-10 years Soldering/welding experience
• A/Z driver's license, forklift license, WHMIS, and Health & Safety Awareness training
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a unique industry
