We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Specialist to join a small team of three and become the go-to automation expert . The environment is currently approximately 60% manual / 40% automation , with a strong focus on increasing automation over time.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to help strengthen and build a robust QA automation practice .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks
- Perform both automated and manual testing
- Build and execute regression, functional, integration, and API tests
- Identify opportunities to increase test automation and coverage
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify and resolve defects
- Support web and, ideally, mobile application testing
- Help establish QA automation best practices and processes
Requirements
- 4+ years of focused QA Automation experience
- Bilingual English/French — MUST HAVE
- Strong JavaScript experience — required
- Cypress experience strongly preferred; Selenium considered
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience working with .NET
- Strong API and regression testing experience
- Mobile testing experience strongly desired
- Comfortable working in a role that is initially approximately 60% manual / 40% automation
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Location: Remote. Candidates in Montreal/Quebec preferred ; Ontario candidates will also be considered.
