Security Guard Industrial with Relocation Bonus

We are seeking for Container Terminal Security Officers who will work alongside other port-related and logistics services. This position requires strong situational awareness, adherence to strict protocols, and a commitment to confidentiality and safety.
Relocation Bonus! We are offering a $2,500 relocation bonus to successful candidates hired for this role before June 30, 2026.
Bonus is subject to terms, including a one-year minimum commitment to full-time work in this position.

Responsibilities
- Anticipating and addressing inquiries, hazards, obstacles, and traffic concerns
- Static and mobile patrolling the facility regularly
- Ensuring authorized entry to secure areas only
- Writing detailed incident reports
- Complying with the Marine Transportation Security Regulations.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to maintain site integrity and security
- Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm panels
Qualifications
- Please note that applicants seeking employment at the terminal must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Security Clearance as identified by the Marine Transportation Security Clearance Program.
- Valid BC Security License
- Basic First Aid or be willing to obtain it
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Security officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid Security License.
- Strong communication skills
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills, including working under pressure.
- Discretion when handling confidential and private information.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
