Senior Cloud Engineer Ottawa or Toronto

Become a pivotal Senior Cloud Engineer focused on innovative solutions in a hybrid setting in Ottawa, Toronto, or fully remote across Canada. Lead cloud architecture development and mentor fellow engineers. In this role with the Cloud Platform Engineering Team, you will tackle complex challenges while implementing essential DevOps strategies. Your expertise will drive cloud service efficiency and performance, ensuring a high-quality output through effective collaboration and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive collaboration within the Cloud Platform Engineering Team
• Develop and guide cloud reference architectures
• Conduct thorough code reviews for quality assurance
• Keep abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends
• Coordinate Scrum activities and manage KPIs

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of cloud engineering experience
• Familiarity with GCP and API automation
• Proficient in Go, Python, and Infrastructure as Code
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
