Position Description
Reporting to the CEO of the Company, The Global Channel Partner Manager will initially provide hands on coordination and execution of company’s strategic relationships/objectives and Global Channel sales and Partner Program Development functions. The Global Channel Partner Manager will develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy as related to the Agriculture Industry and related Company Products, Services and Practices, with national and international focus. This will also include monitoring and analyzing sales and marketing activity against revenue goals.
This position will be responsible for developing a Team in the future, including program management and engineering and support, technical delivery and project management staff; utilizing existing methodology and practices. The Global Channel Partner Manager will be able to identify key leaders in the local AG sector and build on the talents of key staff and marketing to target online and print campaigns, sales strategies to gain market share.
Responsibilities & Duties
Based out of Abbotsford, the Global Channel Partner Manager will:
- Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions utilizing indirect sales methodology as related to the company’s solutions targeted to the Agriculture Sector
- Understand the consultants in the market such as Agronomists and Agrologists and how to partner with them in their consulting environments
- Build partnerships with existing Local, National and International Agricultural technology companies in the verticals we are targeting and provide solutions to comarket and support new integrations
- Develop and coordinate indirect sales selling cycle and methodology.
- Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
- Be actively involved in strategic planning including corporate positioning, developing effective forecasts and sales projections and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.
- Research and develop strategies and plans that identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company and its products.
- Define the product strategy to ensure customer engagement, market share growth, and proper positioning. This will require focus on strategic product decisions and understanding current and future competitive threats.
- Maintain knowledge of trends within markets and agricultural industry, overall; recognize and address sales barriers.
- Confidently articulate the vision of i-Open Technologies as it evolves from a services base revenue model to a License revenue
- Fluent Spanish is a definite asset

Additional Details
Location: This role will work from our offices in Abbotsford, B.C. There is no expected work-related travel, unless specified by management.
Work Arrangement:Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
