Change Management Analyst (Kitchener)

Role Overview We’re looking for a Change & Communication Analyst to support the people side of technology‑driven change initiatives within the Digital & Technology division.
This role is ideal for someone early in their change or communications career who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys turning complexity into clarity, and is motivated to help people successfully adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working. Partnering closely with the Manager, Change Management, the Analyst will play a hands‑on role in executing change and communication activities that drive awareness, understanding, and adoption across the organization.
You’ll contribute to multiple initiatives at once, supporting the development of communications, coordinating change activities, and partnering with project teams to ensure employees feel informed, prepared, and supported throughout periods of change.
Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of change management and communication plans for technology‑related initiatives (e.g., new tools, system enhancements, process changes)
Assist with stakeholder identification and basic change impact assessments across people, process, and technology
Draft, edit, and coordinate employee‑facing communications including emails, presentations, FAQs, toolkits, job aids, and intranet content
Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure change activities are aligned with overall project plans
Help coordinate change readiness activities such as information sessions, workshops, and training communications
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business partners to support understanding of upcoming changes
Assist in maintaining change artifacts such as trackers, timelines, and communication schedules
Support measurement activities by tracking engagement, feedback, and adoption indicators
Identify potential risks or areas of resistance and escalate appropriately to the Change Manager

What we’re looking for Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Technology, Organizational Development, or related field
3–5 years of experience in change management, internal communications, project coordination, or transformation initiatives
Foundational understanding of change management principles and practices (e.g., ADKAR, stakeholder engagement, impact analyst, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment
Experience working with cross‑functional teams
Preferred Experience Exposure to technology or digital initiatives (e.g., system implementations, new tools, process changes)
Introductory change management training or certification (Prosci fundamentals or similar)
General familiarity with AI concepts and workplace use cases or demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn, particularly in the context of organization‑wide AI initiatives
Education Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Knowledge Change management concepts and adoption approaches
Communication and graphic design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, etc)
Digital platforms and collaboration tools
Basic project management principles
Awareness of organizational culture and employee experience considerations
Skills Comfortable creating short learning videos using Clipchamp for voice or screen capture and Canva for editing and visuals
Solid written and verbal communication
Writing and content development for multiple audiences
Organization and planning across multiple initiatives

Collaboration and relationship building

Attention to detail and multitasking
Abilities Communicate clearly and concisely, translating complex information into plain language
Support the development and execution of communication and change plans
Create a variety of content types (emails, presentations, FAQs, visuals, short videos) for different audiences
Manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy
Effectively use collaboration, communication, and presentation tools
Work independently while partnering closely with a senior Change Manager
Learn foundational AI concepts to support communications, engagement, and enablement during an organization‑wide AI launch
Support the creation of lightweight learning content (e.g., short videos, visuals, walkthroughs) to help employees understand new tools or initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
