Évaluer les opérations quotidiennes
Contrôler le rendement du service
Planifier et organiser les opérations quotidiennes
Préparer des rapports pour la haute direction
Recruter du personnel
Superviser le personnel
Gérer des finances et budgets
Prendre des dispositions pour l'envoi de documentation et le mouvement des marchandises en transit et en retrouver la trace
Veiller au respect des règlements du transport
Établir et mettre en oeuvre des politiques et des normes sur le transport et l'entreposage des marchandises
Négocier des services et des taux préférentiels
Surveiller les horaires et la répartition des véhicules et des marchandises
Surveiller l'établissement des tarifs pour les services de transport et contrôler les recettes
Noter l'information sur les cargaisons, les heures de service, les distances parcourues et la consommation d'essence
