Lead backend architecture and distributed systems engineering as a Staff Software Engineer II with KeyCite in Toronto, Ontario, using a hybrid work model.You will guide complex, business-critical initiatives from architecture through production at KeyCite. The work combines cloud-native architectures, APIs, event-driven services, and large-scale data processing. You will modernize established platforms while protecting reliability for professional research systems and customer-facing products.Key Responsibilities:
